Brevard Soil and Water Conservation District Minutes

The Brevard Soil and Water Conservation District met in regular session on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., in the 4-H Conference Room, UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County, 3695 Lake Drive,
Cocoa, Florida.

May 9, 2018, meeting was cancelled due to no new business.

The meeting was called to order by the Chair, Bud Crisafulli, at 4:00 p.m.

Board members present were: Bud Crisafulli; Henry Minneboo; Allen Cowart; and Adam Perez.

Staff members present were: Melinda Morgan-Stowell

Approval of April 11, 2018, Minutes

Motion by Henry, seconded by Allen, to approve the minutes of April 11, 2018. The vote passed unanimously.

Approval of Treasurer’s Report for the Period of April 11, 2018 – June 12, 2018

Motion by Henry, seconded by Allen, to approve treasurer’s report as presented. The vote passed unanimously.

Old Business

Adam informed the Board there still hasn’t been an invoice received from the Florida Key Lime Pie Company for the pies supplied at the 2017 Brevard County UF/IFAS Extension annual agricultural legislative luncheon.

New Business

Melinda Morgan-Stowell informed the Board on the current state of the local farmers market industry.

Adam provided the Board with a copy of the Annual Financial Report which is filed every year with the State of Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO). There being no questions about the report Adam informed the Board he would file the report with the State of Florida CFO.

Upon consensus of the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 4:43 p.m.
