a. October 16, 2019 News Release; Governor Ron Desantis Announces Legislation to Expedite Water Quality Improvements. Primary topics will include proposed legislation for Biosolids, Agriculture and Stormwater. Printouts of the Governor’s news release document will be provided to the Board Supervisors Presented by board member, Jim Sloan.
b. Update on Deer Park Soil Sampling Plan by Joe Walter, Brevard Agricultural Extension Agent.
5. New Business
a. Release of Grand Canal Muck Dredging Project’s test reports and contractor’s plan for dry muck transport and placement on Platt Ranch agricultural land. Digital media .pdf files on thumb drives and briefing document printouts of both topics will be provided to the Board Supervisors. Presented by Jim Sloan, board member.
